In the heart of Padua, on the corner between piazza della Stazione and the main street of the city, in a panoramic position there is the hotel Grand'Italia. It was built in 1909 as Palazzo Folchi by the famous architect Miozzo, the building is an interesting example of the Art Nouveau. Terrace, verandas and balconies are enriched with flowery decorations of wrought iron and with elegant stone characters.
A careful restoration of the building sponsored by the family Cinel has brought it back to its origin bringing it back to its original shape. The railways station is only a few steps way, the city centre is less than 15 minutes away.
The hotel has 62 bedrooms and 4 business suites, they are all perfectly sound-proof and equipped with independent air conditioning. Every bedroom has its mini bar, satellite channels, telephone with answering machine and other accessories – for example there is a video recorder and Jacuzzi in the business suites – the best comfort for our guests. Bedrooms have: mini bar, shower, bath, TV, telephone, air conditioning, bathroom.
